Ever since 2019, the Malta Aviation Conference and Expo aimed to bring together professionals from the aviation industry to debate, discuss and network, all with the aim of growing, connecting and strengthening the industry in Europe and across the globe. Becoming a staple event in the aviation industry’s calendar, MACE established itself as an aviation cluster and positioned itself to be the perfect opportunity for industry players , professionals, as well as policy makers to engage in discussions, partnerships and share best practices.
While in 2019 the theme revolved around the heights that the aviation industry has reached, in 2020 and in 2021 the focus shifted towards discussing the uncertainties of a global pandemic. The latter two years were arguably some of the toughest the aviation industry has ever experienced. Since then, the aviation industry has been busy in recovery mode and as the number of people travelling increases again at a steady pace. Thanks to this growth, the 2022 conference could shift its focus to the other side of the coin, the industry’s labour shortages across the board leading what was once a well-oiled machine moving millions of people globally on a daily basis, to experience regular hiccups resulting in delays, flight cancellations, ruined holidays, etc.
It is with pleasure that we confirm that MACE will be coming back for a 5th edition in 2023, as we aim to continue taking the industry to new heights together. Register your interest today, and join us on the 11th and 12th of October, 2023.
