Malta Aviation Conference and Expo (MACE) Successfully Concludes Its 5th Edition
The Malta Aviation Conference and Expo (MACE) has wrapped up its highly anticipated 5th edition, marking a significant milestone in the aviation industry. The event took place on October 11th and 12th at the Hilton Malta and lived up to its reputation as Malta’s largest aviation conference and expo.
MACE 2023 was organised under the theme “Maintaining Altitude,” with a primary focus on addressing the latest developments and challenges facing the aviation industry as it rebounds to pre-pandemic heights. The event provided a dynamic platform for collaboration and cooperation among aviation leaders, enabling them to come together and chart a course for future success and growth.
The conference commenced with two enlightening workshops on October 10th, conducted by Trustflight and Satcom Direct, setting the stage for the main conference program. Over the course of two full days, MACE 2023 featured a line-up of distinguished industry experts who shared their insights, experiences, and visions for the future. Notable speakers included Nicolas Rallo, Regional Director of the ICAO “European and North Atlantic” (EUR/NAT) Office; Marylin Bastin, Head of Aviation Sustainability of Eurocontrol; Glyn Hughes, Director General of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA); Victor Bleoca, VP Cargo Revenue Optimization and Capacity of Emirates Sky Cargo and Laila Bin Hareb Almheiri, CEO and Founder of Alive.
Stanley Bugeja, Jonathan Dalli, and Joshua Zammit, MACE Founders, expressed their commitment to staying at the forefront of the aviation industry and the importance of evolving with the industry’s changing landscape. They brought in strategic partnerships and engaged thought leaders to positively shape the industry’s future. They then went on to announce that MACE will be returning for a 6th edition on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2024 in Malta.

The updated visual identity resonates with multiple generations of aviation professionals and enthusiasts, symbolising MACE’s dedication to staying relevant and dynamic; sharing commitment to the aviation industry’s growth with a renewed sense of optimism for the industry’s future.
