Maria Gauci is an aviation and HR professional with over 17 years of experience, primarily focused on people strategy and organisational development. She currently leads the HR function at Comlux Aviation, a global leader in business aviation, driving talent management across the EMEA region and beyond.
She previously served at Air Malta, where she supported strategic HR transformation contributing to key initiatives in organisational restructuring, leadership development, and workforce planning.
Maria holds a Master’s in Human Resources Management and Development from the University of Leicester—where she was awarded the prestigious Ashton Prize for her outstanding research —and is also certified in Work Psychology by the University of Cambridge.
An academic at heart, Maria spent nearly a decade as a part-time lecturer at the University of Malta, contributed to Middlesex University (Malta Campus), and served on the Scientific Committee Board of the Institute of Tourism Studies.
