Róman Kok is the Director of Public Affairs and Communications at the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA). In this role, he leads the association’s efforts in advocating for the business aviation industry at the European Union level, shaping policies and regulatory frameworks that impact the sector.
Róman’s passion for policy advocacy began during his European Studies at Maastricht University, where he envisioned a career at the centre of European policy in Brussels. His academic background provided a strong foundation in understanding the complexities of EU institutions and policymaking processes.
Before joining EBAA, Róman gained valuable experience at the Dutch Embassy in Warsaw, honing his diplomatic and policy analysis skills. He then moved to Brussels to work for an American firm focused on environmental policy advocacy, further expanding his expertise in EU policy engagement and stakeholder relations.
At EBAA, Róman is dedicated to intertwining public affairs with strategic communications to create better synergies and strengthen the association’s policy advocacy. He works closely with EU institutions, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to ensure that the interests of the European business aviation sector are effectively represented and advanced.
