After commissioning and serving a distinguished career in the British military as a combat helicopter pilot, Simon Cook transitioned to flying multi-engine aircraft on transport and surveillance missions. His years in uniform provided him with deep operational expertise, exceptional leadership experience, and a first-hand understanding of the complex, high-risk environments that define modern aviation and international security operations.
Following his military service, Simon worked for His Majesty’s Government on specialist aviation and security projects, further expanding his strategic insight into global operations, aviation risk management, and geopolitical dynamics. He later joined Universal Air, where he first served as Account Manager before being appointed Chief Executive Officer, overseeing commercial aviation operations across multiple jurisdictions.
Today, as Senior Security Advisor at Dyami Security Intelligence, Simon combines his operational aviation background and strategic security expertise to help clients navigate an increasingly complex threat landscape. He supports airlines, business aviation operators, and government entities with threat analysis, crew and operations training, and tailored risk mitigation strategies.
At Dyami, Simon is part of a team that delivers people-centric intelligence-driven aviation security solutions—integrating real-time intelligence, expert analysis, and training to enhance operational resilience and ensure duty of care across global aviation networks.
