Ms Analiza Abdilla

Dr Analiza Abdilla is an Inspector at the Civil Aviation Authority in Malta, where she is responsible for managing Unmanned Aircraft Systems and U-Space, eVTOLs and Innovative/Advanced Air Mobility. After obtaining a first degree in electrical engineering from the University of Malta, Analiza worked as a research engineer at a local Marine Software Engineering Cluster of Excellence, where she was responsible for managing innovative marine-related software systems projects. She then pursued a doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol, UK, where she focussed on optimising the endurance and capabilities of UAS. Analiza subsequently worked at the Defence Equipment and Support within the UK Ministry of Defence, on the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and the Eurofighter Typhoon, prior to joining TM-CAD upon her return to Malta in 2019.
