Stuart Mitchell is an experienced aviation professional with over 9,000 flying hours across both military and civilian operations. Currently serving as Programme Manager for the Gulfstream G650 at FlightSafety International in Farnborough, he leads the organisation’s largest UK programme, overseeing global customer relationships and ensuring the highest standards of safety and training delivery.
A former Chief Pilot at Flybe and Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force, Stuart has held senior leadership and training roles spanning commercial airlines, regulatory compliance, and crew development. His RAF career included flying the Tristar, Victor and Vulcan aircraft, and he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1999.
